We are on a journey with God our father and His Son Jesus Christ. This blog is about our learning & unlearning, joys & sorrows, times of bright light & apparent darkness, but more than anything, it is about the grace we have experienced in our lives through the death and resurrection of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ which has made this amazing new life possible. It is about the glorious hope promised to us by God in Christ Jesus and how that affects our everyday living.
We make our home in a small rural town in Eastern UP called Kachhwa. Our immediate family comprises of the two of us (Shankar & Blodwen), Prarthna, Vishwas, Arpan and Jeevan – our four children. I (Shankar) hail from the beautiful landscapes of Kerala where I completed my studies till graduation. After my postgraduate studies in business administration in Tamil Nadu, my professional journey began in the bustling corporate worlds of Chennai and Delhi, but my heart yearned to make a meaningful impact.
In 2014, my family and I took a leap of faith and moved to Kachhwa, a rural area in Uttar Pradesh, to create positive and true change.
We hope as we exchange our lives, thoughts and ideas as disciples of Jesus, that it would be a mutually enriching experience for us and you the reader.
